As quoted by AJ &KJ, if you add 1 to any number you get a greater number. So it never ends...
"if you remove a part from infinity or add a part to infinity, still what remains is infinity" Yajur Veda (c. 1200–900 BC)
If you're interested in infinite and numbers, you should look for Georg Cantor work. He proved that the real numbers are "more numerous" than the natural numbers. In fact, Cantor's theorem implies the existence of an "infinity of infinities."
[Xeme 11 : if the big bang theory is right, the universe has a limit. There couldn't be an expansion of the universe if it had no limit. The universe has a border even if we can't practically reach it as it's expanding at the speed of light. For the numbers it's different : the infinite is never achieved. It's just a potential infinite.]

The proof is this - the counting numbers never end because to the largest counting number a new counting number is constructed by adding 1.

because they don't have limits they are limit less entity and you can add the smallest entity to the largest you have achived so you will have a new largets entity. by the way sexillion is said to be the largest number anb it is 10 raised to power 21 and it will be
1000000000000000000000

ultimately,
because they are evil
nasty little creatures that can be real or imagined, finite and infinite, transcendental, logarithmic/exponential, trigonometric, undefined, fractal, asymptotic, convergent....
the forms that they can take are staggering
they are the mental monsters hiding under your bed....
be very afraid.....

They do. They eventually curve around back to zero.
(assuming the universe will eventually collapse)
