I would be happy for the long suffering Cubs fans. I can't think of a fan base more deserving of a "dream season" then those "Bleacher Bums". On another note concerning the Cubs, WHY IN THE HELL ISN'T RON SANTO IN THE HALL OF FAME??

Pass out...It's been hard for me to watch the cubs since they follow the same losing patterns every year. They get crap conservative managers and all their players spend time on the DL. I have to say I rooted for the Sox the whole way in '05 and last year as well. It was nice to see a Chicago team win it all. Soriano is an 8 year mistake, and they paid too much for him. Pinella is a good choice for manager, but where is the pitching? The chemistry that the sox have? It doesn't exist on the north side. A team has to be hungry and the cubs haven't been hungry since '03, and even then Florida was starved.

I'd be glad for them. Any team that puts alot of effort into changing a team and makes it to the WS deserves it alot!
Though I'm not a Cubs fan in any way, i do think that i should watch the Cubs roll since my Twinkies aren't going to be the dominating team next year despite soo many open gaps.
Cubs are a dominating threat right now and will be through out the whole 162 games. I am not sure that they WILL indeed make the WS, but just getting into the playoffs proves how much they improved, just like the Detroit Tigers despite losing the WS. They gone through a 12 year of bad things, and now they are a threat. Tremendously full of all-stars.

If the Cubs won the NL Championship I would have to hope that they didn't play the Yankees cause they are my 2nd favorite team as well. Then I would root for them in the World Series.

Cheer like hell for them. Their fans really deserve a winner, just as the Detroit fans did this year. The Cubs have really improved their chances with some good deals so far.
Chow!!

i lived in chicago in the fall of '03. if they make the playoffs they can't lose again. they have to win it all. i was outside of wrigley for game 7 against the marlins. 40,000 on the inside, another 40,000 standing on the streets outside. it was a party, girls showing their boobies, men huggin each other after a good play, beer everywhere, but it came to a sad end. the cubs can't put their fans through that kind of heartbreak. either suck it up or win it all. no more of this losing out in the playoffs crap.

Well I think it would be a great accomplishment but they will find a way to screw it up in the World Series if they make it..If the win, it will be official that the Apocalypse is occurring..
