Who said this and were is it from?

This was written by Dante Alighieri. in the Poem "The Divine Comedy' but more commonly known as "Dante's Inferno". Written sometime between 1308 and 1321, originally in Italian.

The great Italian poet Dante made that quote. Later, Martin Luther King Jr. repeated it in a speech.
