Some popular board games include Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, Yahtzee, Trivial Pursuit. Some classic store bought games are Battle Ship, Operation, Clue, Connect Four, Chutes and Ladders. As for kids games some of my favorites were four corners, 7 up, stuck in the mud, and wolf (a cross between tag and hide and seek). Many games are now involving the use of a dvd player. Sometimes this is fun, but it's also sad that even board games have to rely on TV now.

MONOPOLY!!!!! That's GOT to be one of the classcs! Nowadays, they have SO many different collector's editions.
Each year it seems, they come out with a new one - sometimes using a hit movie for the theme, like when the "Cat InThe Hat" was playing in theaters.
I know of no other board game that has that many versions.

Children's games, I would have to say (like you mentioned) the "hide and seek" or another classic "tag". When I was little, we used to play "Ghost In he Graveyard" - like a hide and seek/tag game combined!

Ahhhhh, the good ol' days! GREAT QUESTION! It got me to thinking about some wondeful memories. TY!
