I am writting a 4 - 7 page research paper on ancient mathematics. I want to narrow my research down to one paticular ancient civilization and just research that civilization's mathematics.
From the following list, which do you think is the most interesting that I should research?

when i do a research paper i like to start with a topic i know little about so that i can learn something new and keep up my level of interest............when i am stressed or do not have a lot of time to invest in a learning experience, then i pick a topic i know a little or even a lot about so that the research is easy and the writing is a breeze. I think china would be the topic that is most interesting (for me) and Egypt the easiest (for me).
