I have two old cell phones & I don't want to have to buy another phone, but I do want to activate service.

You can't if they are the older analog type cell phone. Even those carriers who still have analog service aren't accepting new customers, they are trying to get those customers to switch.

Generally you can get an adequate basic cell phone for free with a new contract. If you look into it, I think you'd be surprised at the new phones that are available for no or little money.

you can only use them if there are un-locked GSM cell phones!


go to any cell-phone shop and have them look at them, then just buy pre-paid sims cards! you can get them on the Internet!
