Yes, it does sound like a historical figure, a warrior of some kind who led his army in to conquer a nation!

Alexander Atticus is very classy. How about Atticus Alexander? Atticus Finch (from To Kill A Mockingbird) is one of the most noble characters in literature and a boy should be proud of such a name. Honestly, how can a name be too "goth"? That's the silliest thing I have ever heard!

No one's really going to pay attention to the middle name anyway. Alexander is - oh, for once on these forums - a perfectly good, normal name. I like Atticus, but I used to study ancient cultures, so I'm biased.

Make sure the initials don't spell anything!

Atticus is cool if you like lawyers and To Kill A Mockingbird. Alexander is a bit common though, and doesn't match with Atticus.. so call him Xander!

I like it - especially Atticus. It sounds as though a person with this name would have the potential to be important in the world. Good name.

I like Alexander but not Atticus that makes the name sound old. I wish you luck.

I like Alexander, but not Atticus. Atticus seems Egyptian or Greek or something, I am not sure but its weird. Go for Alexander Xavier or Alexander James or Alexander Randall or something like that. The two don't seem to go together

I love it!! Who cares what other people think, except for you and your husband, and with him, maybe you can compromise on a name? Like you choose the first name, he chooses the middle one or vise-versa?

I love Alexander Atticus, though, VERY powerful!!
