This may be a lesson learned. If you have filed claim with PayPal and did not have buyer protection, you may be out the money. It is always of utmost importance to check feedback and see what other buyers think of a seller. If you want an item but the seller is questionable, pass it up and wait for another chance to buy it elsewhere.

I just went through the same thing, and while it takes about 6-8 weeks, yes, you will get a refund if you filed a claim, so long as you are in their guidelines (I think you can't have made more than 3 claims in a year.)

Yes, you will get it back, they are little slow as they have alot of things to go through but that is the purpose of paying through Pay Pal you have insurance backup. Ebay does not even process Pay Pal, it is done through a registered bank.

Yes you will, your covered for more than 140 on ebay . Paypal are excellent about this stuff. Leave it in there hands. I have had to use them many times due to unauthorised transactions etc.

Sadly enough, probably nothing.

[edit] Wait a minute - that faceless person up there going by "bbfyhjd" says he has had to use it plenty of times??? Duh! Exactly how many times do you get ripped off before you stop buying from people who have bad feedback???

You should be able to get it back...PayPal is pretty good about scams.
