Take an ice cube and rub it on the wax to make it freeze and it should look hard & brittle. Then take a butter knife and the wax should be able to scraped right off! Good luck!

If it is really deep, you might try placing a piece of plain news-print paper over it and using an iron, draw the wax into the paper. it may take several tries, and you will need to clean your iron well before using it on any other clothes. Maybe buy a cheap iron at a garage sale or dollar store. Good luck!

place a rag or old towel over the wax and underneath the jeans then place a hot iron on top. the wax will melt out onto the towel. Good luck

yes i think both ... the ice will remove any surface wax and the iron will remove the rest try also just paper towel and the iron..then wash in warm soapy water.

put a sheet of brown kraft over it and then iron it, the wax should lift and stick to the kraft
