In the United States of America " Disco is Dead".

Everyone basically thinks there are no Discos in the United States here. So things have to be disguised as something else to atttract people.

Usually there are large " Bars" that have a big open floor that they only use certain nights or during special events. These around where I live find themselves linked to Radio stations... so they get the edited junk off the Radio,.. If they do well and the Radio Station Profits then they get UnEdited Techno'd Up songs,.. like Techno Versions of Sexy Back.

It pretty much sucks here. What I end up doing is turning on Online Radio stations from other Countries like Italy, France, and Germany to get my Techno and Dance music. As a result I actually hear more music that's new in the United States some times because noone plays it here,.. all the Radio Stations where I live are connected to some nation wide or avilable in random states junk that plays songs that advertisement for the songs pays for them to play.

A repeating event that is getting on my nerves is some of these own many of the radio stations in the area,.. and they have been doing things like playing a well paid for song on every single station they own. So Country will have Rap playing on it and the Stations from specific time periods like music from the 70's will have current Pop, and the Heavy Metal will have soft Country playing >.< It is REALLY REALLY annoying,.. oh and a station was converted to Christmas Music Only on like October 30th and will stop playing on like Jan 6th >.<

Added: Oh ya,.. and being bars-clubs they tend to have an entry fee and require you to drink atleast so many alcoholic beverages (gee,.. I wonder why there are so many drunk drivers in the area).
