For women wearing pants has a valuable history for us! Pants for women emerged from the nineteenth century feminist movement, which demanded a change from Victorian dresses to a more practical costume that would permit women to engage in activities beyond those traditionally assigned to the female domestic sphere. Ironically, however, women's pants would achieve widespread social acceptance only when the fashion industry convinced women that pants were a necessary part of a well-dressed woman's wardrobe. My opinion on pants as a woman is very high because it was a breakthrough achievement just to wear pants!

girls wear them too frequently. i have done personal survey in airports and have almost never seen anyone except flight attendents wearing skirts. Gilrs should wear skirts.
Also why do some fashionistas say a " pant" instead of pants? wierd.
I do like to see a girl in nice tight pants sometimes but not all the time. try a dress girls.
With boys or men it is better to call then trousers than "pants'.

this pants-wearing privilege of females has been abused to the point of extinction for skirts. You give them an inch and they take a mile.

Since there is the skort (skirt/short combo)for girls, I am hoping that some one will come up with an idea for guys. Maybe the shants (one leg shorts/one leg pants).
