Those creams actually fade out the melanicytes under your skin; it is those that cause the hyper-pigmentation of freckles. There are a number that do work, unfortunately, grocers and drug stores rarely carry them. Your best bet would be to go online and find some good brands that have been independantly rated (I use 'Paris Fair and White,' by Derma Paris, and I've also used 'Super Lemon w/ Sun Screen' by Viva, by Beautymax Cosmetics (London).
Even the good ones take a month or two to kick in--if you're darker skinned I recommend the Paris, if lighter I recommend the Beautymax. And remember, they only work as long as you use them--so if you stop, the freckles will come back in a few weeks. But as long as you just mix them in with your regular moisturizer, they'll become second nature. Luck!

I don't really have an answer but you really shouldn't get rid of your freckles. Freckles are unique and make you stand out amongst the many look-a-like people....plus they make your face seem flirty when you even just sitting there.

Did not know there was such a thing! Where in the name of all that is can I get some?! I don't care what people say, when the summer comes and those hideous things appear on my face, I feel like a twelve year old again! And wearing heavy foundation is not nice in the heat!

... alot of people like freckles... and they are a part of you that makes YOU unique... I don't have them but have plenty of friends that do.. and I love their look... Everyone is beautiful in their own way hun... Don't change your look just to 'blend in'
...Oh god no... I'd rather stand out...

I can't help it I like my freckles! They are unique! I only let the doctor cut the big bulging ones out. I like them, it is cute no?
