So long as you have been taking the pill at the right time and everyday day then you will be protected from pregnancy. Sex during your period is okay, just make sure that you have a towel handy.

Have Fun!

the pill will protect you from getting pregnant but not from a single STD. You can get pregant at any time whether you are havng your period or not. Some women ovulate before there period begins.

Both of you need to get test for everything before you have unprotected sex. Because honestly, these days when sex can kill you, pregancy is the least of your worries.According to the CDC 1 in 5 people have Herpes alone.

If you're on the combined pill, you are definitely protected during the 7 day break.

I asked my doctor about this once and he said that the pill works by overriding the natural hormones, which takes a few days (hence having to take it for a week in the beginning before you are protected).

Thereafter, the body takes about 9 days without the pill to switch its own hormones back on, so you can safely have a monthly break of seven days and still be protected.

As long as the pill is taken properly as described on the packet and you aren't unwell (sickness etc) then you will be protected even on your pill free days (during your period). Ideally you should use a condom though as the pill doesn't protect against STDs or protect you from cervical cancer. Consult your GP or family planning clinic if in any doubt.

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant if you have sex during your period. The "rhythm" method is not reliable. Your best bet right now is to get a pregnancy test and put your mind at ease. Just bite the bullet, buy it, and stop worrying. It's worth the money.

As long as you take the pill properly you will be protected all the time.
Although of course, there is a 1% chance that the pill won't work for you, and you won't be protected from STDs.

I would never have sex when its that time of the month. But if you are you should wear a condom as the pill is not 100% any way. But you should wear a condom imagine the mess on your partners bits. Good luck to you ... uck

Most of the time yes, but there's still that chance that you could get pregnant. If you're not wanting to get pregnant, then I suggest just using a different condom. Maybe Durex untra thins, or mutual pleasure.
