Is there a concrete reason or are they just pure sex kittens used as a half-nude attractions for people to buy albums.
And I don't think any of the other girls apart from nicole are hot. She's the only hot one, and the only one with a decent voice, why did she agree to perform with PCD anyway?

well, Destiny's Child's Michelle and Kelly sing pretty well though.. I;ve heard their solo albums, and they can be better off on their own.. PCD on the other hand, they're nothing without the sexy body.. err, right?

The Main Voice is constantly switching. These girls are not so great on their own and at getting a range out of their voice,.. so they have whichever one is closest to the proper note in the foreground,... even when they show it off as and pretend one is singing the main/lead all by herself.
I think of them as the female version of the Wu-Tang Clan,.. I expect they are going to have people come and go,.. and it already looks like they had 9 members at one point and 6 now,.. and 7 normally. Upon hearing more details it sounds like they are constantly loseing members and haveing them replaced with fresh young new girls and they have been around for over 10 years,.. I think someone famous and independent now was in The PussyCat Dolls 15 years ago,.. I don't remember who it was though,.. just heard it as part of the history of a bar, club, threatre,.. whatever.
Added: When I first saw them they looked like they have Identical builds,.. like they all wear the same sizes and lengths of clothes, but nothing else in common. But I noticed the voices dropping and riseing so I know they need all those girls voices to get a decent range of notes for the main lyrics.

I was thinking the same thing. I'd like to see the red head sing a song, and maybe the other brunette and a blonde each do a song.
If they really are the backup singers, then they have the voices to sing lead.

All of them can sing.. But I guess it's like they agreed that only Nicole would sing lead.. Just like in Destiny's Child when they all agreed that Beyonce would do lead

I think it has more to do with the fact that sex sells than anything, what does it matter, ten years time nobody will know or even care who they were.....

close friends? it's like you your friend, who has a small bit of talent, gettin on a football team. If both of you get on, you're probably going to want to let some people see what your friend can do. giving him a chance to show off what he has. So, maybe nicole feels that way for her friends, even though they all look alright to me.
