It does not work for everyone. It depends on their OS (operating system) and their keyboard.

Okay, very weird, but it only works for me if I press Alt and 3 VERY quickly together. If I pause a little between pressing the buttons, the heart doesn't show up.
♥
If I hold the Alt key down and wait and then press the 3, I get some WEIRD results, like a U or a 5!
Also, it doesn't matter if I have Numlock on or not, the heart still shows up, as long as I press them quickly.

Yeah it actually works, but on some programs/websites it might not, because they use their own codes, or they just don't support the codes. That simple! ♥
