I personally think they are underrated because i am from Indiana. Our run defense has been horrible but we have one of the best offenses in the country

I think that a lot of the teams in professional sports are overated. Just because Indianapolis has the best offense in the NFL does not make them a good team. A good team also has a good defense and good speacial teams units (although the Colts have both). The trouble with the Colts is that they get all of the hype during the season because they start out so good but they never can finish the season well and get to the Super Bowl. Maybe this year will be the year for the Colts.

Easy answer is yes. Most will say "They have no Super Bowls". However, the question was not are they chokers but are they overrated. No they are not. They are a VERY solid football teams with some weaknesses. Thanks to the Patriots teams all over the league can actually come up with schemes to defeat them. Look they are by no means the animals they were about 3 yrs ago. BUT they are still winning. Hope this helps.

they are way too overrated because peyton manning bales the defense out of games. THE COLTS HAVE NO DEFENSE. dwight freeney's production has dropped and bob sanders was injured. the offense is going to face better defenses, and that wont help peyton manning

Very overrated. All that would go away if they won a championship. But Peyton Manning would still suck in my book. Not his game but his attitude. Cry baby.

tough call. they are the best team in the NFL, but i think they are weaker than they were last year.
they will finish in 1st place, but i expect them to drop early in the playoffs to a more rounded team like New England or KC.

i don't know if they are overrated..but they obviously can't win the big games..so that is how they will forever be judged..good team in november not so much in january..btw..as a steeler fan they were part of one of my greatest football memories..WIDE RIGHT!!!
