Why not buy real books for $1 plus shipping at www.abebooks.com? Don't you prefer the real thing over e-books!!

If you want to read (mostly English-language) classics, Project Gutenberg is a good start.

http://www.thefreelibrary.com has many complete classics :) You can search by author, title, etc. It also offers biographies and an autolink dictionary.
