i suggest looking at the hook ups and seeing if any of those are disconnected first OR if their is nothing unplugged, you should see if anything is blocking the pipleline..if not, call the dude who installed your machine, and ask him how to fix it yourself without him coming to fix it, that way you save a lot of cash :) i love fixing things myself, if you need more help u can email me

here's what you do: take a phillips or flat head screw driver, and remove the back panel of the dryer. You will see a huge cluster of lint, which can sometimes result in a burning smell and/or the heating element gets blocked from providing heat the tumbler. If the lint isn't the issue, then you probably need a heating element (usually around $100 if you buy it yourself) If you don't know how to install one, they can be installed for around $150-$250 would be REASONABLE. Anything more than that, I would grill the repair person for a good explanation(it is in an usual place and needs to be taken apart or the element might be expensive for your model would be a couple of examples). Good luck

If it's an electric, try turning off the circuit breaker, maybe one of them is off but it's does not appear to be tripped.
There is an over limit switch and a thermal fuse in the dryer, but you have to take off the top and back panel to access them. You need to use a multimeter set to ohms, unplug the wires and check for continuity, if it's an open circuit then it needs to be replaced.
Don't forget to unplug the dryer from the outlet before working on it.

If you have pulled the exhaust hose off and you don't feel warm air coming out, a couple things can be wrong. The heating coils have failed (doesn't happen often) The dampness sensor is bad (more likely)

is your dryer spinnning? if it's not spinning then the band is broken it's really simple to change you have to remove the barrel and install a new band. dome models are trickier than others but it's fairly simple i fixed my mother in law's dryer and saved her $80

If you feel confident...check the pilot light and make sure
you're firing up the burner. Should be near the front bottom.
