30 degrees in one place doesn't always feel like 30 degrees somewhere else, so it's not really a measure of how hot or cold a place is.

I know that with a drop in pressure, the temperature will drop, but does that mean temperature is essentially a measurement of pressure?

Thanks.

I think the "feels like" factor is very important..Due to the amount of humidity in the air and the wind direction and speed.

Temperature is actually a measure of the energy of molecules. As others have said, the "feeling like" part of temperture is affected by the humidity and the wind speed. So, what a body feels depends on those things. But a thermomenter would read the same because the energy the the molecules of air has would be the same.

Temperature is the effect of solar radiation and distinct from other affects such as wind, air pressure, and humidity.
High pressure systems do raise temperature, but this is only slight contributor in changing temperature. The sun is still the dominant force. Note also the temperature difference of an east-west mountain ridge between the north and south sides. The south side gets direct sunlight intensity in a near perpendicular direction to the surface of the ridge. The north side gets less solar heating due to the angle of the sunlight being near parallel to the surface of a north facing slope of a mountain. (Assumes Northern Hemisphere)

a change in temperature may be caused by a change in pressure, but the temperature itself is not just change in pressure. also, the same "digits" may feel different form place to place because of factors like wind chill and humidity. it IS really a measure of how hot or cold a place is, some areas will recognise this by explaining how wind chill lowers or humidity heightens the ambient temperature.
