I have to say your an idiot. Nobody in their right mind would have stayed out of Europe in WWII if they knew anything at all about what was going on there. And just because it was Japan that attacked us and actually brought us into that war, we would have eventually gone in anyway. As far as liberals urging negotiation and diplomacy, nah baby nah. They would have been right there fighting on that one because of the incredible human rights violations going on there. Know your history, know your terms, or sit down and shut the hell up because this is big boy talk.

Of course they would , but not if they knew beforehand what he would do. If Hitler had promise that he would not attack anyone if we signed a peace treaty the liberals would go for it. Liberals seem to lack a basic understanding about simple human behavior they think that if you talk to a bully nicely he will see that you mean him no harm, not realizing that the bully looks at you as a sucker just for the fact you are negotiating with him.

God, you're an idiot! And I know it's Pearl Harbor Day, but why the hell do you keep bringing up WW2? In case you've forgotten, the US pretty much stayed out of Europe's business until we were finally attacked. (In case you've forgotten, it was a liberal, FDR, who was in office back then.) However, it was Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain of Britain who kept negotiating and making concessions with Hitler. But when Hitler finally invaded Poland, Britain and France decided that enough was enough and that was how the war began.

Baa Baa! That's my imitation of you, my friend, since you are obviously one of the sheep that the NeoCons have brainwahsed into equating Liberalism with weakness on foreign security. You also need to brush up on your WWII history. FDR was a huge liberal and it was he who guided us throught the war against Hitler! He also got us out of the Depression. Liberal=Pro Human rights, look it up. It's said that you have been mislead like a cattle by Bush and Co.

That's a no-brainer, they most assuredly did back in the late 30's early 40's. They finally shut up on D-Day... Omaha beach had a bit of a sobering effect... even on the limp wrist leg wetters of those days.

you assume because we disagree with an unjust war we were lied to about, and the policies that the liar has put into place that we wouldn't stand up for our nation? We support our nation, and unlike the republicans.. we know we are the mightiest nation, and don't feel the need to flaunt it.
