My husband and I have been having a lot of problems with saying things when we are upset, and being sorry for them immediately. We have never made personal put-downs or anything like that. It is just assumptions and we are both insecure, apparently. I just want to say I am sorry for assuming that he was upset about us needing to spend $100.00 last night on coats for my daughters, when we are really pinching our pennies. He says he wasn’t upset about that, but he was upset at the way they (especially one of them) were acting. Anyway, the question is how to say "I'm sorry", because he doesn't respond well to that. A guy can send a girl roses, and all is better. I probably wouldn't send him roses anyway, but it is impossible, since he drives a truck all day. There would be no place to deliver them to. Can somebody (preferably a guy, I guess) give me any suggestions? Thank you so much!! I just want to say I’m sorry, and have things back to happy and normal. I am feeling so sad today, that it is hard to even concentrate on my work. I love him, and we have only been married for 5 months.
