Mean :-
Mean are of three types, Viz. Arithmatic Mean, Geometric mean, & Harmonic mean.

If x is a variable assuming the values x1,x2,............,xn
Then the A.M. of x is defined as
A.M.(x) = Σ(i=1 to n)xi, i is the suffix of x.
The G.M. of x is defined as,
G.M/(x) = (x1*x2*........*xn)^(1/n)
The H.M. of x is defined as,
H.M(x) = n/(Σ(i=1 to n)[1/xi], i is the suffix of x.

Meadian: - If the given values of x are arranged in increasing or decreasing order, then the middlemost value of the arrangement is known as the Median of x. Alternatively, it may be defined as, a value of x such that half of the given values of x are less than or equal to it & half are greater than or equal to it. The Meadian of x is denoted by Mi(x)

Mode: -for a discrete variable, the mode is defined as the value of the variable having maximum frequency.

For a continuous variable, mode is defined as the value of the variable corresponding to the maximum frequency density in the frequency curve.

mean- add all the given numbers and divide them by 2
mode- it is the highest frequency.
median- it is middlenumber eg .2 4 6 4 8 the median is 6 because it the in the middle

Mean is found by adding all the numbers up and dividing by the amount of numbers. e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4 the median would be 2.5

Mode is the most common number, i.e. in 1, 1, 2, 3 - the mode would be 1.

Median is the number in the middle when listed numerically e.g. 1, 2, 3, 3.5, 4, 5 - the median would be 3.5.

Hope this helps.

The mean is the sum of all items divided by the number of items.

The mode is the term with the highest frequency or occurences.

The median is the middle term.

Mean is the arithemtic average or if your numbers are (70,85,94)
the mean would be 83 (the #'s added up and then divided by the amount of numbers)

Mode is the number that occurs most in your data or (88,87,90,90,93,90) mode: 90. If all numbers occur once there is no mode. If more than one occurs the highes frequency then there are multiple modes.

Median: the number in the middle when the data is arranged in numerical or ascending order. If there is an odd number it is the middle number if it is even it is the average of the two middle numbers.

The mean is the average of values given in other words it is the result of the sum divided by the number of the items.
The mode is the most frequent item or value.
The median is the middle value of the given items or if the number of items is even it is the average of the two middle items.

mean is where you add all the numbers together and divide the number you get by the total of numbers in the list
Mode is the number that occurs most often
median is where you line all the numbers up in order and take the middle number.
an easy way of remembering is; MOde=MOst Often, MEdian=MiddlE, Mean=The only one left!

Mean is the average (add all the figures and devide by the number of figures)
Mode is the most frequent number. (just count to see which appears the most frequesntly)
Median is the number right in the middle of the series (the number in the center; goegraphically rather than calculationally)

mean - take all the values, add them up and divide by the number of values

mode - the value that appears most

median - put all the values in size ordrer, the middle value is the median.
