some people reject gays coz they have a limited mind, and they don't think to far, they are educatetd in some way, that made their mind this way.... that's it, we wait till they're gone

Generally it is because they believe homosexuality to be morally wrong, and / or against their religion. Others, including some in the gay community, may dislike or not accept others because they have been taught to be ashamed of themselves. While others are just hateful, cruel, evil, vile, and Ill people who dislike everything and everyone.
Should you ever find yourself around such people, just remind yourself that they most likely don't know any better, but that does not mean you or anyone else should conform to their lower standards.

I think some people have come to the conclusion that if they open their minds to the idea, they may become gay. Personally, I'm quite secure in my sexuality and, though I won't pretend I understand homosexuality as a life choice, it's fine with me if you choose it for yourself.

Very simple: because they cannot accept imperfections in this life at all. Including imperfections inside theirselves.....
They are stuck up and considered as narrow-minded who really cannot tolerate or compromise all the blemish and deformity in this life at all. To them all the imperfections in all parts and pieces of this human life are considered deadly and horrendous. To them life should always be perfect and flawless without any annoying spots at all...
They have their own picture perfect of a peerless epitome of an ideal and utopian life should be.

Some people reject gays because they are gay themselves, and have not the courage to admit it, even to themselves. That is what the word homophobia means - fear of one's own homosexuality.
