I would give some to charity, and the rest to people I care about. Close friends and family. I myself would not know what to do with $1,000,000 it just seems to much for me.

give a 100 to Greenpeace, 100 to Peta.
then I would study in different parts of the world different languages, for instance go to Paris and improve my french, go to new heaven and do a semester in Yale, go to Brazil and learn Portuguese, chine and learn mandarin. always staying in cheap hotels, spending little money.
then after travelling around the world for like 3 or 4 years, I would choose the place that I liked the most and live there. buy a ittle house, car.

I would pay off all my bills. Once I pay off my house I would buy a new one and give the old one to a family in need. Then invest some then go on a great vacation.

1st , I'd build a new home. One with a basement that completely replicated the upstairs. I'd let my husband's grandparents have their choice of where they wanted to be, upstairs or downstairs. I'm the only female in the family that doesn't work, so someday they will become my responsibility and it would be convenient having them so close.
2nd , I'd give money to the people in my family that needed it the most. Pay off their homes or get new cars for the ones that need them.
3rd, I'd get my brother a pancreas transplant.
4th, I'd give money to 3 churches in my area that mean something to me.
5th, I'd build my husband the garage of his dreams and fill it with things he would love to have, i.e. new harley, classic car, his pet truck, ect.
6th, I'd travel w/ my family to places "we" really want to see...Alaska, Hawaii, Scotland, Austrailia, Iceland, Greenland, Ireland.
7th, I'd invest.
8th, Build a Humane Society for my area
9th, give to numerous charities.
