There is definitely some sort of accelerated transformation going on within the western world as a whole, it seems to leave people very unsure.
The above is a safe world of delusion created by a certain sort of people that have a certain vision of what the western world is and what it is going to be.
Children see from a very early age what you can get away with, it is up to us to change it or some will continue to know very little about the importance of the 'ordinary'.

i'll have a house and a car if you don't want it. im sure a large proportion of the people in the world would kill for a car AND a house that was all theirs. And in Somerset. they have morrisons AND waitrose in Somerset.
You question what this world and these people have turned in to when you live at pretty much the top end of it. you're having an off day, we all do. do something fun, go for a walk, put your FAVOURITE song on headphones, turn it up loud and close your eyes.

Very interesting question, i often think about the bigger picture. I always think how ridiculous the bureaucrats are nowadays. Its not human, its insane. Human instinct has gone, along with the will to live, now we just survive, feed our faces and go to work. Make arrangements and meet deadlines. Use the mirror too much.
We all want more, but when you start to get it its not enough. I say lets get out of this downwards spiral and join the Kalahari Bushmen or the likes of, and start enjoying ourselves, with no paperwork. Back to human basics. I think THAT would be satisfying.

They have evolved from right gits to pillocks and great Prats!
I just mentioned pursuing of dreams in another response. I hope and pray I always have far more than a top polluting or other unfun vehicle and fancy house to pursue.
I wrote in effect, "Pursue your greatest passions there is joy in doing."
Kids nice house, all that would be nice enough, but I have to fulfil my academic and a few other dreams as well.
Charles "that cheeky lad!'
By the way, Happy Christmas!

We all do.
Actually most people are content with the house, Vectra and 4 kids. Its only when the husband (or wife) gets out of order that discontent moves in.
Serious answer.
