What do you mean? Gifts from the heart of course. Something that immediately reminds you of them.

For instance, I would like a gyroscope for Christmas and some fuzzy socks.

I'm a little weird, but I am into Physics and gyroscopes are so cool.

Merry Christmas!

sometimes just your presence is a great gift. Visit someone in the hospital on Christmas...spend some time with an old friend you haven't seen in a while. These gifts touch the heart and never get old and go out of style....if this wasn't the answer you were looking for....I guess you could give someone a new tie. Nothing says love more than a good tie. LOL

You're not "supposed" to give anyone anything really. The meaning of giving a gift is a gesture of offering. You do it because it makes you feel good and it makes the reciepient feel good too. When you find the proper gift for a person, your heart will let you know.

You are suppose to give something from the heart that the recepient is hopefully sure to love by the way it is called a Christmas gift.

sister- an anne kline pea coat

mom- seasons 1 & 2 of the t.v. show frasier

dad- gift certificate from books a million (the only present he ever wants)

co-workers- coffee and biscotti

my mother in law- some high threadcount sheets (it's what she asked for)

The Canadian had it partly right.
The gift of yourself is the most important of all.
That said how about making holiday dinner and taking it to a total stranger that is elderly and shut-in? Sit and get to know this person for a few hours and listen while they weave stories of their past to you. I assure you your life will change forever.
Become the miracle.

Everybody wants something for xmas...but not everything is w/in everyones budget....I noticed walmart has these gift arrangement/bags/baskets for women that are basically toiletries/soaps/fragrances type stuff that cost around 7-10 dollars all laid out for xmas...these are pretty ideal as casual gifts and it seems people are buying/enjoying them...

There is no certain type of gift. Just think about the person you're buying for, what they like, hobbies, collections...and just go from there.
