If you have a problem with leaks then you are not using the right pad for your period. Try one with wings or a pad made for heavy periods etc. Also if any of your friends use pads ask them what works on their heaviest days. You should not be having leaks any time you have your period so always be sure to use the right pad for the right stage of your period. Yes this means having more than one type of pad on hand but leaks are not supposed to happen if you use the right kind of protection.

Always Ultra Thin Maxi with Wings... get the overnight they are very long and that way you don't have to worry about leaking in front or in back!!!! Also if you are really heavy to avoid smellage I would suggest changing often

I always used to bleed heavy before I started on B/C pills and I used the Overnight pads with wings and rarely had an accident. I cannot use tampons myself so I had to use pads.

u can always try tampons (the thin one are always better), but i recommend not to unless u know how. and there is always the chance to get an infection.
