It depends on how you carry your self when your in the dress and the shoes..... now if your wearing a short dress in the middle of winter with high heels to go clubbin... then YES that is slutty. But if you wearing a short dress with cute leggings or panty hose and cute heels going to a party, then NO the dress would look great. I think you should NEVER wear a short dress if your going out a place where you might want to be a little careless, like out clubbing. but if you know how to carry your self then a girl can pull off anything type of lenght no matter what.

They're not "sluty", but they can be "slutty" if you don't wear them the right way. To keep short dresses from looking slutty, you should try wearing them with leggings and stillettos or peep-toe pumps. Do NOT wear them with anything that will show your whole leg. And be careful if the dress is shorter than your arm's length.

No, depends on the material and cut of the dress obviously. And it obviously depends what kind of person you are and how you wear the dress, for example a short skirt on a very young girl wouldn't look slutty but perhaps on an elderly lady it would be inappropriate. Also depends on your personal opinions and values but ultimately you should wear what you feel comfortable in.

if you mean like Paris Hilton party clothes then yes it is sluty, but.. I would say that if you wear mini skirt then wear decent blouse.But if you wear revealing blouse then wear decent skirt or jeans. But clothes shows the state of mind in someway. If you want to be sluty wear sluty clothes.....

I would say that wearing some leggings, or tall boots would make it look better. if you don't have either of those things wear some classy Accessories such as a cute watch or bracelet that is not brightly colored with a matching necklace or earrings, and low toned makeup. Perhaps some earth tone eyeshadow and grey eyeliner, if you wear bright or excessive colors with it, you may end up looking more slutty than intended.

Depends how you wear them, what kind of dress and what kind of boots-shoes you wear with them. If you think you look cheap then try another combination, you have to feel secure wearing it, cause it shows when you are not. And then it looks cheap. Unfortunately there is no written rule when it looks good or not, and it is different for all. But true, it is one or the other, legs or boobs, just like lip color or eye color, both together looks like you are trying too hard... succes!

I agree with Summer, if the top is low, then the skirt should be long. If the skirt is short, keep the top high. AND wear tights, bear legs with a short skirt only looks good in the Summer.

I think that would depend on how short the dress is...can you sit down gracefully if so then you should be ok. But if you really have to worry when sitting down that could be seen as slutty.

How short? For someone around the age 25 knee length is the way to-go. For someone
30+ just below the knee is a great look. Don't go to short... or YES you will look slutty!
