Hey Jason,

They say we only use a small percent of our brains. Imagine if you could figure a way to use more. Well, here is some research on exactly how to do that. By stimulating your neurons to fire (stimulate memory) faster and more, you can increase your memory!

Scientific studies have been done on classes of kids, and found that those that take Cod Liver Oil in recommend doses learn better, focus better, perform better, etc.

So, Cod Liver Oil - that is how an Information Junkie can get more.

You could also learn how to improve memory with various techniques.

(humor) :
Ah, but will it stop there, will you need Whale and Elephant liver oil next, maybe patch some else's brain to yours, extend your memory to your computer with Eye Socket I/O devices - How about firewire to your brain and lots of SATA Drives with an Oracle Data Base... lol

Get a surgeon to implant an encyclopedia in your head. You can probably get it done on the NHS if you say you depressed.

Also try eating a clever persons brain- it's a bit of a cheats way but it gets results.

Also increase the number of times you masturbate a day a thousand fold. This makes room in you testicles for more information.

Confessions of another Info Junkie;

1 Read various versions of Trivial Pursuit Cards in the bathroom.
2 Read the Oxford Dictionary on your break.
3 Keep your TV and Computer Monitor NEXT to each other.
4 Have Split Screen TV (just because you are not directly looking at one doesn't mean you aren't picking something up from it.
5 Read Newspaper Reviews, i.e. books, movies, music, restaurants, wine, etc
6 Start conversations with taxi drivers, people you sit next to on buses & trains, grocery line
7 Visit every museum in town, whether they interest you or not
8 When you visit a bookstore, purchase one book from a different section every time you go
9 On Yahoo Answers, look up and answer a question for kid on a subject you know nothing about.
10 Find the strangest looking kid at work or school and ask them about their musical interests and why they like a certain artist, then go home and listen to their music
11 Walk into a local Cultural Center and ask them about their culture...that's why those things exist.
12 Attend every festival in town, whether it's the Greek Festival and the Cajun Festival
13 Whether at school or work, ask anyone you may speak to in a casual fashion, "Hey, what is your major?" "What department do you work in?" "What's happening on your side of the fence?" (I am considered a highly valuable inter-office asset..LOL)

Instead of trying to read it all and cram it into your head, try the 'hands-on" approach.
It will give you a "visual" to be able to recall with some clarity.
You need to switch up on your methods or you will get numb.
The variety will keep you happy and feed your obsession to it's utmost.
I have employed every tactic I listed recently.
I have plenty of reading material, had a great time at a benefit for the building of a gay men's AIDS rehabilitation center, had a brilliant conversation with a Chicago taxi driver who was personally involved in the Algerian Liberation from France, traded Xmas presents of CDs from this Goth kid at work who is 25 yrs younger than myself, had no problem picking the RIGHT holiday presents for friends since I knew all the GOOD reviews & only paid $200 for EVERYTHING, have a GREAT t-shirt from a kickin' festival to show off, actually held in my hand a real coin from ancient Egypt with Cleopatra on it, learned all the exciting places to visit in Peru, got an email from a super kid that had been very sick and is trying to catch up on school work, and was visited by our marketing department's head and thanked for catching that huge shipping mistake on a very important promo simply because I had a cigarette in the break area with the receiving manager.

It's all about INTER-FACING, dude!
INFO is like a DRUG to me, but you gotta know where to get it that drug!
And I gots a BAD habit! LOL
Read those encyclopedias and dictionaries, but the BEST info is from PEOPLE!

so you can actualy benifit from the information you're gaining, choose and obsess and research about a certain topic for a whole month, or more if you want, till you feel you know enough about that subject.

then you'd realize that that subject appears in your life quite often. you can be a smart *** too and be like "oh, i know everything about that"

P,S, include dates, spacific names, etc.

Information is mainly the factual data that we generate, consume and share with each other. Try to classify and priorities all that you know. And to top it all try headstand – make you mentally strong and capacious.

well, as far as studying or whatever. the best thing i found to remember information when i was in college is to write the information over and over again. and it would kindof stick.
