I have definitely beat the odds. I have been married for 10 years and we have a great marriage. All those articles come out that give your risks for staying together and getting a divorce and EVERY single article says me and my man should be divorced.
For instance, I am his second wife. We lived together before we were married. My parents are divorced. Getting married while young. There are a few more but that is the gist of it.
IMO, a marriage is give and take and toooooo many people today think divorce is just breaking up. I think they should be alot harder to get and I also think getting married should be alot harder to do also.
I mean heck isn't our divorce rate over 50%....that is ridiculous. Too many people nowadays get into an argument and then get a divorce.
Me and my husband has been through more than people go through their whole lives. Like losing a child, almost losing another child and in-laws trying to split us up(there is more, but won't bore you).
And there is no doubt in my mind that I will be celebrating my 50th with this man and have our 6 daughters by our side.
