If you are running Windows XP, all the drivers for the LJ2100 are included with XP. You should just be able to attach the printer, go into the Control Panel and click the Printer and Fax icon. Click the Add New Printer icon, and then select it from the list of available print drivers. You should not have to install anything.

as quickly as I have been given XP - i got here upon that my particularly new HP printer substitute into no longer supported so i could no longer acquire the drivers - do no longer understand if it incredibly is your subject yet on occasion the excuses are so glaring that we don't think of of them first.

Best way to find your HP driver is to go to www.hewlettpackard.com I found the driver for my desktop C670 there. Best of Luck!
