I would ask your ob/gyn that question. It probably wasn't harmful but you really should consult with your doctor.

Never, ever take strong painkillers during pregnancy as it can harm the unborn child, i've worked in a chemist and i know for a fact that co dydramol is a prescription only medicine. You really should have spoken to your GP or pharmacist. The only painkiller allowed during pregnancy is paracetamol 500mg. Just don't do it again, if in doubt seek professional advice. Hope you have a safe pregnancy.

Codydramol is safe to use in pregnancy as long as you are not allergic to any of the ingredients and you only took the prescribed amount which is usually 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours, and no more than 8 tablets in a 24 hour period. I prescribe it to women who are pregnant most days, i'm a midife, please don't worry that you have caused damage to our unborn baby because you havn't.
