Am I the only one who believes that the type of person who actually enjoys, and makes a point of watching, shows like Trisha and The Jeremy Kyle show, deserve to die?

I can't begin to express the loathing I have, not only for the shows and presenters themselves, but for the participants and the audience, both in the studio and at home.

Thats a bit harsh man! Try watching Jerry Springer or Ricki Lake, it's just laughing at other mistakes, learning about how weird other peoples lives are and interacting with them, either in the privacy of your own home or in a studio audience, if you think long and hard about it your doing exactly the same thing on here if you go into family relationships, singles and dating section....
Other peoples lives interest us......fact.

No I think I understand the loathing, its a bit OTT others rights and all that, but I think I understand it.
Purile, derogatory, nonsense, tripe, mind destroying, I could think of a whole list but I do not give it the credence or importance you do.
As above try to chill they do not do that much damage.
Look what the whole Imperialist western liberal capitalist system does and even though those shows are a symbol or sympton, they are only a minor part.
Be well..

Not die, but they should make better use of their time.

On the other hand a quick look at the participants does not do you any harm if it makes you realise how lucky you are not to have sunk, or been dragged down, to the state they find themselves in.

Billy, sweetheart, these shows are completely ridiculous and therefore in my humble opinion, hilarious.

Try and chill out a little...there's a lot more stuff in the world to be outraged by than trash like this - let's start with child abuse, famine and poverty eh?

these people have really got under your skin. relax, the are an odd bunch off people but laughing at people who are stupid enough to air the intimate details of their sordid, torrid lives is good!!
contestants on shows like the x factor should be shot if they get voted off though. that would up the anti and make them try a little harder!

I can't comment as I have never seen the shows you refer to, but after a quick look in the TV guide I have to say they do appear to be a bit crass.

Sorry never, ever heard of the shows. But don't ya think your feeling are a little intense for something so trivial?

Have you noticed though that once you start to watch it, you have to watch it all the way through because you can't believe what you are seeing...unemployed...chavs!
The only time I've ever watched it is if I'm off sick from work.
However, I don't wish them dead though!
