Both men and women have body hair, but men naturally have more. The act of females shaving their body hair is an attempt to accentuate the contrast between male and female by making sure they are less hairy than the men. I think shaving is more prevalent in societies (like the U.S.) where women have economic and social equality, because the women need something that still makes them womanly and unman-like. Guys have gotten use to seeing women with hair in only two spots (head and pubes) and nowhere else.

Most men don't shave body hair because being hairier then women is a natural physical trait that defines them as more masculine and not a female. Some men do adopt a "Metro Sexual" attutude and (like most women) shave, trim, and wax their body hair to have a more clean looking appearance.

I think most guys can handle some body hair on their girl. There will be times when girls get sick, injured, or pregnant and unable (or unwilling) to shave because it would be too difficult.

It's not unnatural for you to be comfortable with your body hair, technically that's how you're supposed to look. There are some guys that prefer hairy women (there are websites dedicated strictly to showing hairy girls) and most can tolerate periods of hairiness (like I mentioned above), but most guys prefer that women shave, trim, wax, or do what ever else it takes to stay less hairy than men.

I think as long as your hair growth isn't heavy and noticable on the face, back, and chest (the locations where males are supposed to have growth) you should be feminine enough for most decent guys. If a guy really likes you and the relationship has plenty of trust, understanding, affection, and sex he will either like your body hair or accept you as you are and get used to it.

Your NOT strange for being comfortable with your body hair, and guys are NOT strange for liking girls with body hair. Its just that society had become so use to women being without body hair, that it SEEMS unnatural for them not to shave, trim, and wax to get rid of it.

Well it could be health related. If you are THAT hairy...you could have too much testosterone. This could be harmful in the long run. A friend of mine had this problem and she finally asked me what was wrong. I told her all the things that it could be. She went to see her Gynecologyst who ran some blood test and her testosterone was off the chart!!

I would go get checked. Too much testosterone could affect your cycle and your ovulation. It could creat something polycystic ovarian disease.

If you like it that's fine... but I wouldn't take it so lightly because women aren't supposed to be as hairy as men. Because we have estrogen and progesterone not dominated by testosterone!

that depends on were the hair is. If you have thick pubes is one thing a uni-brow and a mustache is another!
