This time of year can be hectic on anyone and as you most likely know it's all over the place-mostly.
I have no idea why you don't like the holiday but think of this for a start:
There are older folks out there who are alone-very alone. They have not put up any lites or other decorations-because they can't.
They will not have a holiday dinner nor family or friends coming over to share the love.
Suggestion to you: Locate an older person that I have described above and bring them a dinner YOU have made. Get to know them and their past- bring a new tradition to them even if for only a few hours.
In other words become a miracle.

I'm not really in to Christmas. I'm in my early 30's, I see it as a children's holiday. And I don't have any children. I buy presents for my nieces and nephew because they are children and I like to buy them stuff, but I don't get anything in return. So, I take advantage of it being Christmas time and get a part-time job as holiday help. A lot of retail places start hiring around October and look for people willing to work evenings and weekends. I find that it helps me get into the holiday spirit a little more and puts extra cash in my pockets. And it gets my behind off the couch so I don't put on those extra holiday pounds.

That is too bad. It is such a wonderful holiday that really brings happiness, joy and magic. I think going away to a tropical paradise to get rid of it all would be a great idea. Or perhaps visit a hospital or shelter where people would love to celebrate Christmas but unfortunately cannot. It will make you much more thankful for what you have and might change your mind.
Merry Christmas!!

How about a holiday in Saudi Arabia? They don't celebrate it. Nice country, lovely beaches, but the tide goes out a long way.

If you live alone, just stay home that day. If you have children get over it and celebrate...or become a Jehovah's Witness.
