I did try to reach in but the pipe curves at a weird angle so I can't get far enough back. I know it won't work, but I still need to get it out

DON'T PUT YOUR HAND IN THE WATER! PLEASE DON'T! YOU WILL GET ELCTRIC SHOCK! TRUST ME ON THIS (no joke)
Your phone is stuck in the bend (if you know what I mean). The best option is to call a plumber who will then use a flexible device (I dunno the name) to reach in and clamp on the phone. You can try by getting a PLASTIC hanger and poking it towards you.
I hope you everything works out fine for you!

Sounds like it's stuck in the trap. If you can't grab it yourself, you'll need to remove the toilet from the floor, put it somewhere where it won't damage flooring or carpeting, like a 10 gallon pan, and flush. It should come out into the pan. It's a lot of work for a phone that probably won't work again. I'd just flush it away and get a new one.

It's still in the pipes then. If you can't take them apart yourself grab a neighbour or a plumber. They'll be able to get it out easily enough.
I know this is horrible but can you stick your hand in there and pull it out?

You're going to have to stick your hand in the toilet and get it our or you can ask someone to do it for you or it's just going to stay there while other people use the toilet and flush. It could still be flashing when someone calls but I don't think you can use it.

You are going to have to reach in there or take apart the toilet. In the mean time - don't use the toilet and don't flush it.
Good Luck!

LOL! If you got it it probably will be malfunctioning big time! Also, you can't send it to get repaired because the phone companies won't repair for free if it got wet (which they will be able to tell). You may just have to get some rubber gloves and reach in to get it. It is probably beyond fixing though.

Try removing toilet from floor. The diameter of the exposed waste line should be sufficient to retrieve your phone. If it's stuck in the toilet itself, it should be easy to remove at this point.

whether it relatively is gigantic, it would have in all probability gotten caught interior the capture of the lavatory. in case you have the lavatory pulled already, insert a snake from the backside and attempt to push it back out the way it went in.
