I'm about 4 days late on my period, and I know that late periods can be caused by stress. I have been pretty stressed. I need to relax that way I can see if it helps my period start. Any good ideas?

Take a bubble bath with candles, and listen to your favorite music. Then get in your jammies and watch your favorite movie. That is what i do to relax. And if your period doesn't start, take a pregnancy test, and see your doctor. It depends on your age, i am 21 and have had irregular periods my whole life, and the doctor says its fine. My mom was around 40 when she started having irregular periods and they during her yearly papsmear they found irregular cells, and it ended up being cancer. They cought it early enough that she was okay. But if it doesn't get back to normal, i would get it checked out to be safe.

Pregnant...if not possible, if ur on birth control, alot of bc methods can cause missed and non existance periods. If that doesnt apply either then yes stress can cause it too. just relax and let the chores go for a few days.

Try a massage and a nice bath with candlelight rather than a light, go to bed early and read a book not a magazine a book.

Go and get your self papmered if you can afford it and just try to sit down and even watch T.V, try not to think of the things that are stressing you out.

Try a short walk, cup of calming tea and a good book, do house work or go window shopping. Those are some of the things I do to destress. I also try to call up people to talk or solve one of thier problems. Do anything so you don't have to think about it.

Try 2 go to the SPA and relax, try not to let the crazy things get 2 2 u, DO U HAVE KIDS?

i'd say grab a good book and lie in bed and start reading, or watch a good movie on tv. and if nothing happens go see a doctor in a week, are get a home test. good luck and be more careful

Just take one day off. Sit on your couch eating your favorite foods and watching your favorite movies. Or just take a well deserved nap. that way you can just clear your mind of ever thing. don't worry about it. Everything should be okay.

Maybe take a hot shower or bath.... listen to music and just go lay down in ur bedroom and try not to think about wut is stressing u out
