Do you believe in an after-life? Non-religious beliefs pleases!?

I am looking for scientific evidence of there being an after-life or not. No religious input please!

Try Near Death Experiences, that is about all we have besides a little wierd stuff in para-psychology that could be passed of as strange but inconclusive. Have you lost anyone close to you? this will mess with you, because you feel things and dream things that push you to the idea that we do live on. I believe consciousness is an energy like emotions that do exist after the body dies...not sure about the little me me me i want to be rich part of you.....or ego...

Yes I do, and so would you, if you were to spend the night in the Myrtles Plantation, in Saint Francesville, Louisiana. I am not kidding either, the place will remove ALL doubt of the existence of an after life, as well as the doubt of the existence of ghosts. This I can guarantee! Should you go, take a camera, audio recording equipment, or even a thermal camera, so you can do your own scientific research. You will find the evidence overwhelming, and never, ever, forget the experience.

There is absolutely no scientific evidence anywhere proving we live on after death. People who cite near death experiences as proof fail to understand that what they have gone through is the process of the body shutting down - the brain, because it controls everything else, is the last to go. The "into the light" stuff is the brain turning off. Sorry, but it looks like here and now is all we've got. Instead of wasting your time with such mundane questions you should live your life to the fullest.

I am pretty sure there is no after life, our thoughts are the simple result of our brain. There could be scientific ways to create an after life in the distant future, maybe learning to control quantum physics or something like that.
Some one in here actually wrote to me awhile back with a story that's as close as you could get to evidence of there being an after life, but I don't think I should share it without her permission.

No one can give you scientific proof of life after death. No one really knows. When we die, we do know our brains no longer function, so we can't have a subconcious dream of a life after death.

As for my personal belief, I believe in reincarnation. When your physical body dies, your soul is transfered into another living being, whether animal or human. What you do in this life affects the next one, so be kind to one another and love the Earth.

You'll find no absolute scientific evidence either way. The afterlife is intrinsically supernatural and the scientific method cannot address issues that are of their entirety supernatural.
