I don't have the cd, earlier it was instaaled by my hardware guy, which is not available ightnow. Can I do it by myself, I do install some of the softwares on my system myself. I just wanted to know where it exists, frm where I shuold uninstall? Pls help

go to control panel click on add/remove programs, click on add/remove windows component, then you should be able to find the solution there, if it doesn't work get an expert to help you.

Go to Control Panel then Add/Remove Programs, then click on Windows Components on the left side and you will see IE listed. Uncheck it to uninstall, then recheck it to install again (after clicking Next of course).

if u hav another web browser, u can download it from this site:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx
if u dont, go to web cafe and download the exe file from the above website..have it on a cd and install on ur computer.
and if u want to install from control panel, then u need to have the cd of windows xp

Simple Steps......
1. Go to internet cafe & download IE 6 Software
2. Intstall IE 6
Thats it ..............
