If you don't like the Father's middle name how about his first name? If you don't like that one either, try the names of your Dad or the Father's Dad and keep going down the family tree. It would more than likely make the person whom you name him after very greatful! Good Luck! My son's middle name is his Grandfather's first name.

I'd say that if you get to give him the first name (and that's going to be rather hard to pronounce and spell when he gets to school, by the way), then why can't the father give him a middle name?

IF YOU CHOSE La'trayvious FOR A FIRST NAME YOU NEED A GOOD NAME FOR THE MIDDLE ONE SO THAT HE CAN CHANGE TO THIS ONE WHEN HE BECOMES OLD ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU GET JUDGED BY YOUR NAME!!!! IT TELLS ALL OF YOUR BACKGROUND! DO YOU THINK SOMEONE WILL CALL La'trayvious FOR AN INTERVIEW IF THERE IS AN Andrew WHO ALSO MADE AN APPLICATION

Nobody usually even uses the middle name so in my opinion it does not matter what it is. I'd be more concerned about that first name you picked.

I don't know why you can't compromise with the father and give him the 1st name you like and middle name he likes.
But how about Dante?

I happen to think La'trayvious is a cute unique name. I would spell it La'treyvious though and call him "trey" for short. I think Dominic, Isaac, or Gabriel would make a cute middle name.

Why would you want to do that to your son? You don't have to make up a name in order for your child to be unique. You can nurture them and help them develop their own personality and style and that will make them unique enough. Good luck and in the end it's your choice but your son may end up resenting you.

don't name him La'trayvious. it sounds ridiculous. make the middle name normal so he has something to fall back on when he starts looking for a job and needs people to take him seriously.

With a first name like that, I don't think it will matter what middle name you give him.
All I can say is - hope the kid can fight when he gets into school!
Or you can be clever and give him the middle name "butt'shavious" or something else ridiculous.
