agree... you can't "change" their mind, but you can give them the info needed to change their own. Doubt is powerful tool, it has ruined the lives of many and saved the lives of more.

Well first of all thank you for finally asking a question on here this morning that makes sense. No I dont think you can change a persons mind nor should you try. And yes, I do feel that regardless whether the doubt is invoked or not there is always some doubt even when your conviction is solid.

You certainly can't change a person's mind, and you can only invoke the doubt within, provided that person's mind is open...

I think they mean it in the literal sense that one persons physical mind cannot be changed only influenced. Almost as to say you cannot be chemically altered to think the same as anyone else, however you can influence a behavior or reaction from an existing thought.

Very true... no one changes my mind but me. I do listen to advice and take it pretty well most of the time. In the end, I always have the final say on my mind. Just like everyone else...

I agree yoiu cannot change someone's mind. You can give them information they did not have or present it in a manner they had not thought of, but what they choose to do, either act on it or ignore it is up to the person.

That is very true the more you try to change a preson's mind the worse off the situation will be.Let them be and they will come around.

This is very true, especially in regard to something like Religion where one is solely dependent on ones faith
