Yes, there was. 6 were injured this morning at about 11am local time (It would have been 5am EST.) when a tornado with winds of 150 mph swept through the Kensal Rise neighborhood in northwestern London. Britain as a whole experiences only a few dozen tornadoes every year, and it's rare for them to cause as much damage as this one did, ripping off roofs and tearing down trees. Above average temperatures may have contributed to the unusual weather.

Yes, it happened in North London and ripped right through a street. A few houses lost their roof and walls were knocked down. Several families have still not been allowed back into their houses until it is safe.

I know they saw a funnel cloud recently in some country that wasn't normal. Check www. spaceweather.com that is the Nasa site they have some great pixs over there.

Not so rare in the UK. Wales just had one and a few homes lost a roof.
They do happen.....out of the blue usually
