Fixing sagging floors on 2nd floor?

I have a 100 year old New England Cottage style home where the floor sags on the 2nd floor but not the 1st floor. How do I fix this?

USE LAGS SCREWS LONG ENOUGH TO PENETRAT BOTH JOIST. LET IT SET FOR 24 HOURS SO THE GLUE WILL DRY.
THEN REPLACE THE FLOORING AND REMOVE LOWER BRACING.
ANOTHER WAY IS TO REMOVE THE CEILING SHEET ROCK AND JACK UP AS DESCRIBED EARLIER AND USE 1/4" PLATE METAL AND LAG SCREW INTO THE EXISTING JOIST..
