My husband and I, and our friends (also husband & wife) are going out on Saturday night, and are looking for something fun to do. We usually go to Hyenas on Sundance Square, but we've seen the comedian that's there this weekend already. We aren't really into going to bars/clubs, other than entertainment. What else is going on? What are some restaurants you recommend? Help me plan a fun (not too expensive) night out away from our kids!

Thanks in advance!!!

Hey, there is a great little shop on Camp Bowie Blvd. called Fantasy Imports. It is completely wild. So very much to look at and just wander through the shop with it's retro signs, posters, clothes, shirts, etc. It could take you hours just looking. So much to see there. Oh yeah, it is on the upper part of Camp Bowie Blvd. diagonally across from Shuckers bar and restaurant. Then go to the Stockyards and walk around this historic and quaint little rustic piece of history and fun. Check out Billy Bob's just to look around and then review the rest of the Yards. All this would take all evening and cost you a little in gas and maybe a burger and coke.

The stockyards are a lot of fun, you could always check out a rodeo if you're interested in that sort of thing. There is a restaurant in the stockyards called Lonesome Dove, it's simply amazing, they have a great wine selection.

Just outside DFW airport in Grapevine is the Gaylord Texan resort. It is huge and just wandering around in it is awe inspiring, but for the holidays they are having a special murder mystery dinner party that has gotten rave reviews. Im hoping to take my boyfriend. Tickets are about 50$ each but include the full course dinner (TX sized). Includes valet parking and all the extras. Visit the website for more details. I know its pricy but should be well worth it.
