Neither can harm your baby. In fact you are so emotional BECAUSE of the baby. Your hormones are causing your emotions to act up. That's just the way it is.
And for your head cold, ask your doc, but you should be able to take plain robitussin or sudafed.

Your body is changing, and hormones are raging. Having a cold doesn't help, check with Doc about what you can take. After a while your body will settle down, When you start getting stressed stop and relax have a warm drink. GIVE YOURSELF THE TIME YOU NEED.
Your mood swings are normal, I was that way and I believe a lot of other women go through the same thing. Try to enjoy the feels of creating a little person, believe it or not it will soon be over.

You're at the part of pregnancy where your hormones are raging from all the change. Being emotional is very typical. Just drink pleanty of fluids, take naps if you feel you're tired. If there is someone you can tell you're pregnant maybe it will help to have someone to talk to.
Don't worry, it's all normal part of being pregnant. In a few weeks your hormones will level out and you might feel sane again. Just wait for the food cravings!

I am four weeks pergnant and every little thing makes me cry. Its ok to cry, dont just sit there and cry all the time. With my last pregnancy, I got deperission and though for sure I would have a miscarrige, but I didnt. Crying alot, like sobing, is not healthy but every once in a while, is not that bad. Just think about the little baby that you will have in july-august and all the little baby toys, and just holding your little baby after its born. I hope this helps you not worry as much. Best of luck to you.

Totally normal feelings my dear. I have three children and was like that for all three. Lots of hormones and not being emotional cannot harm your baby on the contrary, being able to cry and let off some stress is very good.
I used to cry at commercials!!!!

i am 81/2 months pregnant and i know exactly what you are going through. when you are pregnant your immune system(what fights colds) becomes weak and you get sick plus all of your mucus glands become very active and i gaurentee you will have a stuffed up nose for the whole pregnancy and will have colds on and off. it will not hurt the baby, but one thing i recommend is getting a flu shot. when your baby is born, it will help keep him or her from getting sick.

you are fine....all that is normal....i was pissed all the time or crying ...one or the other...Take a walk, go visit friends, go to the movies...get your mind off of things and they won't stress you out anymore. Stress can hurt the baby too so try not to stress out.
I dont' trust taking anything other than plain old tylenol( not cold and sinus...just plain). Never take aspirin or anytype of ibuprofen, pretty much DONT TAKE ANYTHING WITHOUT ASKING YOUR DOCTOR.

When you are pregnant you will have emotions going all over the place. It is a normal thing to go through! It is not hurting your baby.
