why do the bolts on citroen xantia hydraulic pump keep snapping?

what i would do is if your bolting into blind holes is check for any crap down the holes stopping bolts going in all the way. then make sure your not missing any washers or brackets causing the bolts to bottom out and that you have the right length bolts. measure the depth of the bolts too even tap them out to make sure the threads are ok.

Did you use a torque wrench?
