Saddam Hussein was the next Adolf Hitler. Everybody is so damned concerned about the oil. What about the 100's of thousands of Shiite Muslims murdered and tortured. the citizens of Iraq have lived in fear for decades and nobody deserves that. Unfortunately the media and liberals take away the ability to think freely with their propaganda. Look at the real picture. THE PEOPLE!!!

There are people all over the world who are being persecuted and murdered by evil dictators. The people of North Korea are a prime example. Lots and lots of people have been sent to concentration camps and have been murdered and tortured there. There have been reports of people being thrown in acid, for God's sake! Also, the hospitals are sorely underequipped, and the striped uniforms the children wear in them are eerily reminiscent of those worn by the prisoners in the Nazi concentration camps. Kim Jong Il is much worse than Saddam Hussein ever was. The nuclear tests say it all. If Bush's policies are really in favor of fighting wars just for the sake of protecting human rights, why didn't he go after North Korea? The answer is obvious. Bush really couldn't care less about protecting human rights. The fact of the matter is that he and his cohorts wanted to go to Iraq all along and they merely saw the 9/11 attacks as their golden opportunity to find an excuse to do it.

No one is denying that Saddam Hussein is a monster. However, the ostensible reason for the "War on Terror" was the 9/11 attacks. If that was the real reason for the "War on Terror", why didn't Bush & Co. do what any intelligent person would have done and pursued the actual culprit behind the attacks, Osama bin Laden? It's already been 5 YEARS since the attacks, and bin Laden still has yet to be brought to justice. Meanwhile, we've been dragged into a disastrous war with no end in sight and a record deficit.

The people are killing each other to put their own Religious sect in power. Both the Shiite and Sunni want to be in power now. This is not media baloney this is fact. Saddam didn't have the capability to be the next Adolf Hitler. Most people seen his true colors. He was feared amongst his people. Make no mistake of that. however the rest of the world would not have allowed him to be Hitler.
This is becoming a civil war over RELIGION not race and how long do religious wars last? Maybe you can look at Palestine and Israel for that answer. That is the big picture.

Saddam Hussein was not the next Hitler. He was boxed in to the point where even his neighbors didn't consider him a threat. Forget for a moment was known or not known about potential WMD programs. Every analysis that has come out since has said that he had no weapons of mass destruction. Even Bush has said so. Bush didn't go on national TV and ask the American people to support a war to liberate the Iraqi people. He said that Saddam was an imminent threat and that was just not true.
The thousands of Iraqi's that have died since we invaded deserved to live to. Speak for yourself about propoganda. I was against this war while a lot of the country, including the MSM, was busy flag waiving. Face it. We invaded and beat the **** out of a defenceless country and things have been going down hill ever since.

Oh please! The Communist dictators of China make Hussein look like a pip-squeak. They have killed and tortured political opponents. The have sold billions in weapons to Iran and North Korea. they invaded and still occupy Tibet.

And yet while Saddam gets invaded, the Communist dictators of China get permanent most favored nation trading status and a White House reception.

Was Saddam Hussein a tyrant? Absolutely. But that certainly does not make the U.S. invasion of Iraq a righteous cause bent on promoting freedom for Shiites. We can't make that claim while embracing equally brutal dictators in China.

Ya the real picture is this is truly a religious thing going on over there. Everything in their country has to do with religion. especially their government. The person most feared will run their government no matter who Bush wants in there. He could put the pope in there and the terrorist will threaten him and his family to get him to do what they want him to. This is how it has been the beginning of history and this is how it will always be no matter what the decider wants. He is arrogant to believe he has the power to change that.It will never change cuz there are not enough rational people there(and that is who would need to change it). The most of the people there are barbaric brainwashed religious animals that want the power and will do ANYTHING to get it. As a country we need to stay our as-es home and build are military & prepare for when the sh-t does hit the fan and actually does concern us. And in the meantime secure are borders and airports.

I am the Fringe and America is on the verge of an epidemic of it's citizen's having their heads stuck up their 'exit ramp'.

Whatever happens, a nation has no rights to interfere with the internal affairs of other countries. How would u feel as a citizen if china feels that Mr.bush has fooled the "PEOPLE" of U.S by going to war with Iraq and invades the U.S claiming to be liberating them?Think about it,your nation has waged the most number of wars since its birth, your nation has weapons of mass destruction and is the only country to be foolish enough to use it twice.agreed, many other countries too have WMDs,but then,we never used nukes,we use it only as a deterrent. And, i donno if it's new to you, but over 60% of the world's population thinks U.S is the source of all the wars and poverty in this world. And please stop the nonsense about us being jealous of your freedom and wealth. People hate the neo-imperialism of your country and nothing else...

The big picture is we shouldn't have invaded Iraq in the first place. The problem is what do we do now to clean up the mess.

Let's just destabilize the area and leave. That should make us all safer. Do you feel safer now?

We owe those that have given up their lives, to finish what we started! A stable and secure Iraq!
