I am not sure what you are getting at by this question. If this is a joke...then I guess the feel their life has gone to pot. They are probably hoping their troubles are down the drain. If they stand on the toilet before going....maybe it is like the old Chinese Proverb...."Man who stand on toilet must be high on pot".
