My mom and stepfather are. The money helps with happiness, but you have to be a generally happy person before you get money to be happy with it. People try to take advantage of you if you have money, and wonder why you can't help them more. Advantages, humm for me, they pay for my college expenses, for them, it enabled them to start their own business building homes. My grandfather earned the money. He was high up a Slain Hosary Mills in High Point, NC. When he passed away, my mother was the sole benefeciary, but I wold rather have him back and not have money.

First I would like you to read "Think and grow Rich" by Napoleon...it explains that money is not the only disire that people have and it doesn't make you happier. Money helps you get the material things in life but will never make you completely happy. You have to find that happiness inside you.
It took me 4 years to become a millionair and I did it through hard work in the Real Estate business on my own. I bought property and have been reanting them out... bought a 2 family house and converted them into townhouses/condo and sold them for a great profit.....
I am not happier becasue of the money, it is who I can help with it make me shine inside....
good luck

I'm a millionaire...in my dreams.
Of course the money has made me happier, would you rather be poor?
Advantages? Power, security, people sucking up to you in shops and restaurants, you can buy what you want when you want, etc.
I earned the money by closing my eyes and dreaming about it. It was worth the hard work.

I'm not but to be honest, being a millionaire these days is not such an insurmountable task.....especially if you include property towards your total Net Worth. There are heaps of them in the UK. The vast mojority of wealth has recently been created via IPOs, business sales and property if you're looking for an idea. I have met some real muppets who are worth £10m+ just for having sold a pretty average company but fair play to them, that is the best way to do it

no but i wish i was wealthy for one reason, i wouldn't have to work. other than that i can imagine it wouldn't bring happiness after you've been on a few holidays, bought a sports car or two and got the house of your dreams. after all that what else would you need money for..?
good question though. coz if anyone answers genuinely and they are, then i'm sure there will be gold diggers galore bombarding them with e-mails!! lol , only kidding, i'm sure no-one that shallow would even bother with yahoo answers!

money is a defence, (Ecclesiastis 7:12) but the love of money is the root of all evil (i Timothy 6:10), forhwat shall it profit a man if he shall gain the whole world and lose his own soul. (Mark 8:36, Luke 9:25)
