I am almost 39 weeks pregnant. We have been walking, having a lots of sex and nipple stimulation. I have been okay until two days ago. I have been crying uncontrolably, extremely tired and almost depressed feeling. This morning I woke up with a headache and I feel like I haven't slept at all. I actually got to sleep for 7 hours straight. Are these signs of labor or could something be wrong.

I don't remember going through this wehn I had my son 5 years ago. And when I say I am tired, it is way more than normal pregnancy tiredness.

Ok first of all relax you are trying too hard to push yourself into labor and maybe the aches and pains and the head ache is your body's way of telling you that you aren't ready to go into labor yet. As far as the headache goes take some Tylenol that is completely safe to take during pregnancy and go lay down if it doesn't go away within a few hours then call your doctor.

I'm not a doctor, but I can tell you that those symptons are normal in your pregnacy. Your hormones are uncontrolable during pregnancy. Of course your gonna feel tired, your pregnant! just make sure to drink lots of over the counter vitamins, like vitamin c and potassium.

I don't know about during pregnancy, but it sounds almost like post-partum depression - I wonder if that can happen before labor?? I got this from a website:
Report early symptoms of depression to your doctor.

I am thinking that maybe it is time to put in a call to the doctor. Tell him/her how you are feeling. Perhaps then they will induce. Also make sure you tell them about the headache as it could be a sign of preeclampsia. Good luck

its possible that youre depressed due to the fact that you are ready to have this baby.i know that the last few weeks of pregnancy are so hard for me because im ready to see my baby!or it might be your subconcious freaking you out about being a mom again.i know i get freaked out sometimes because of both things!dont worry it will be over with soon and your body will return to normal.

Doesn't sound particularly odd for a pregnant woman.
